Short Shifter Lever
INSTALLATION GUIDE:
See the modification section on the i-club for good installation
instructions. It is for the Graham Goode lever, but the same steps are needed.
APPEARANCE:
The shifter is very nicely done. The quality looks even better than the stock shifter. Too bad the shifter
boot covers it.
PERFORMANCE:
It does it's job and provides much shorter shifts. Shifter is a bit notchier than before. I had the
Cusco bushings in before I installed the lever, so I can't comment to what the lever feels like with the stock
bushings. It does take a little more effort to shift, but it isn't annoying.
OVERALL:
The short shifter is a very worthwhile purchase. It has great quality, great feel, and great decrease
in shift lengths. I haven't tried any other kits (SYMS, STi, etc.), but they would need to be really good
to justify three times the cost as the Kartboy Shifter, and Cusco shifter bushing. This is how a sport compact
should feel, when shifting now.
